Centrifugal Fans — Series U/PB 

High-pressure centrifugal fans designed for industrial air extraction, conveying and pneumatic support applications.

The U/PB series centrifugal fans are engineered to take up and convey air, even dusty air, at temperatures up to 80 °C, making them suitable for heavy-duty industrial use. These fans are often chosen for applications requiring medium-to-high pressure and can also support pneumatic transport of solid materials mixed with air (excluding long fibrous materials).

The U/PB centrifugal fans are designed for:

  • Industrial air extraction and ventilation

  • Pneumatic conveying support where moderate to high pressures are needed

  • Conveying dirty or slightly dusty air (non-abrasive)

  • Integration into ducted systems with static resistance

These fans feature a robust steel spiral casing, backward-curved high-performance impellers, adjustable discharge orientation, and industrial motors designed for continuous operation.

    U/PB fans are optimized for demanding pressure requirements and can provide stable performance under high resistance conditions. 

  • Steel Spiral Casing
    Thick rimmed and welded steel sheet casing designed for mechanical strength and long service life. 

  • High-Performance Backward-Curved Impellers
    Welded steel impellers with backward-curved blades, statically and dynamically balanced for smooth operation. 

  • Adjustable Discharge Orientation
    Discharge angle can be rotated in 45° increments (clockwise RD / counter-clockwise LG) to suit installation layout. 

  • Industrial Duty Motors
    Motors are asynchronous, three-phase or single-phase, 2 or 4 poles, B3, with IP55 protection, self-ventilated, designed for continuous service and compliant with UNEL and IEC standards. 

  • Temperature Rating up to 80 °C
    Suitable for conveyed air up to the standard industrial limit.

Special Versions:

  • AI made of stainless steel AISI 304 to extract corrosive fumes
  • AS anti-spark version in accordance with ANIMA-COAER standards (table NV105)
  • HZ manufactured to work at Hz. 60
  • HT conveyed fluid temperature up to a maximum of 250°C (this version is made with longer shaft motor and extra cooling fan)
  • SB arrangement 5 with motor type B5 or B3/B5 without motor support base
  • TH high protection for use in tropical climate with high degree of humidity
  • TR belt drive, 9 or 12 arrangement
